Why would anyone want to run for a political office with all the division and chaos in our State and Nation?  My answer is simple - WE NEED LEADERS WHO LEAD!  I have been a Colonel in the US Army and my training and experience has prepared me for winning battles, restoring confidence and empowering people!

My name is Jim Engstrand.  I was born and raised on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, served in the US Army, have worked in both public and private sectors and currently own my own small business.  I am pro-life, pro-family, pro-2nd amendment, and pro-business.  These are the 4 pillars of my political position, and I do not waiver from them - ever!  I believe in the Rule of Law and all my decisions will be in alignment with it.

From my youth, my faith and service to the Christian Church has been an important part of my life.  As a young boy, I participated in 4-H.  Those 4-H days taught me about leadership and responsibility at a young age.  As a young man and still today, I continue to stand for our Conservative Constitutional Causes.  There have been times in my life when I did not completely agree with my Republican Party (i.e. raising our debt) and I was vocal about my position.  As a leader, I do not pander to the status quo, or go along just to get along.  Strong leaders lead from the front, not from behind.

As your State Senator I will never support tax-payer funded abortions or infringements on our rights and liberties.  If I am fortunate enough to serve as your State Senator, I will stand against those who oppose our Constitution and protect your quality of life, your freedoms and our future!

I humbly ask for your vote on August 11, 2020.  TOGETHER we will keep State Senate District 28 conservative!
